WTS Advisory advises Netz16 Group on a strategic partnership with accompio, a portfolio company of EOS Partners

Munich, March 3, 2025 

WTS Advisory AG (“WTS”) has exclusively advised the shareholders of Netz16 Group (Netz16 GmbH, Netz16 Hosting GmbH, digisoolut gmbh, ParIT GmbH and Fundwerk GmbH & Co. KG) on a strategic partnership with accompio GmbH (“accompio”). The company accompio is one of the leading specialists for IT services in Germany and a portfolio company of the financial investor EOS Partners GmbH (“EOS”). The WTS team acted as exclusive M&A advisor to the shareholders of Netz16 Group in the preparation and execution of the transaction. In addition to the lead project management, WTS coordinated the entire due diligence and managed the contract negotiations together with GOF Gütt Olk Feldhaus (“GOF”) as legal advisor.

With the acquisition of the Netz16 Group as a strategic partner for accompio, EOS has achieved a significant leap in accompio's group turnover to over EUR 100 million with around 700 employees. In addition, with the Netz16 Group, accompio gains a leading IT managed service company in southern Germany and one of the German innovators in the cyber security sector.

Transaction

The partnership between Netz16 Group and accompio generates significant strategic and economic synergy effects for both companies and their customers. The transaction strengthens accompio's market position as one of the leading IT service providers in the German-speaking region and expands its portfolio to include Netz16 Group's expertise and capacities in the areas of managed services, cyber security solutions and digitalization competencies. For existing Netz16 Group customers, the merger means an even broader range of IT services, an expanded network of experts and greater scalability for future IT projects. At the same time, Netz16 Group employees will benefit from new development opportunities within a growing group of companies with a nationwide reach and presence throughout Germany. Netz16 is also aiming to further expand its service portfolio together with accompio in order to offer customers innovative services such as a Security Operations Center (SOC) to generate greater added value.

The current management will remain part of the Netz16 Group as part of the accompio shareholder group in the long term. As a result, the drivers of the successful growth of the past will continue to have an impact in the future.
